So this is the first day I’m actually doing this. Trying to eat healthy, exercise (potentially… that’s not going to happen until next week at least), have a healthy attitude. I have a feeling this just might work out. We’ll see if I stick to it!

I’m hoping that this blog will help me track my attempts to better myself. I don’t just want to lose weight; I want to try to be a better person. I know that sounds remarkably hokey, but hopefully with the pounds, I can shed some resentment/anger/self-consciousness.
I guess we’ll see…
